These pages are a record of building and paddling my self built wooden kayaks. It is a record of how these boats paddle and a way to pass on the lessons I have learnt so that other can build a better kayak first time.
While there will be records of trips, I do not wish to provide advice on kayaking skills or safety as others with more experience than myself already provide this on other sites. Rather I hope to show how the right equipment and technique can be applied to a wooden kayak.
